Composition :
1 tabl. powl. contains 150 mg ranitidine.
Action :
Specific, fast acting antagonist of H 2 receptors . It inhibits both basal and postprandial gastric acid secretion and reduces the secretion of pepsin in gastric juice. When administered in a dose of 150 mg, ranitidine effectively reduces gastric acid secretion for 12 hours. After oral administration, it is well absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract. Bioavailability is about 50%. It is not subject to intense metabolism in the body. T 0.5 is 2-3 h. It is mainly excreted in the urine.

Pregnancy and lactation :
Safety in pregnancy: Category B. During pregnancy and breastfeeding, use only if the anticipated benefits outweigh the potential risk to the fetus or infant.
Dosage :
Oral. Adults and children over 14 years old: 150 mg (1 tabl.). If the symptoms last longer than 1 h or recur after taking the drug, you can take the next tablet. Do not use a dose higher than 300 mg daily. In patients with severe renal impairment a dose greater than 150 mg / day is not recommended. The tablets should be taken whole, regardless of the meal, with a small amount of water.
