  • If you take more of the medicine than you should:

Side effects :
  • Like all medicines, this preparation can have side effects.
  • The list includes all known side effects from treatment with valerian root and lemon balm leaves, including those at higher doses or long-term therapy.
  • It is not possible to provide reliable information on the frequency of side effects that have become known when taking medicines containing valerian/balm because these side effects have become known through individual reports from patients, doctors or pharmacists. Afterwards, gastrointestinal complaints (e.g. nausea, abdominal cramps) may occur when taking this medicine.
  • Discontinuing the drug is usually enough to make the side effects go away. At the first sign of a hypersensitivity reaction, this medicine should not be taken again. If you notice any of the side effects mentioned above, inform your doctor so that he can decide on the degree of severity and any necessary measures.
  • If you get any side effects, talk to your doctor or pharmacist. This also applies to side effects that are not specified.

      • There are no adequate studies on the use of the preparation in small children. It should therefore not be used in children under 6 years of age.
      • Only rarely do sleep disorders in children require treatment with drugs. If non-drug measures such as regular daily routines, especially going to bed, relaxing at the end of the day, etc. do not show sufficient success, the drug can in principle be used in children from the age of 6 years. However, sleep disorders can be the result of physical or mental illnesses and should be remedied in such cases through targeted treatment of the underlying disease.
