- Rivel gel Antifungal activity, Rivanol, contains ethacridine lactate, commonly called rivanol with bactericidal and antifungal activity. The RIVEL is used for disinfecting the skin and mucous membranes and for treating infected wounds, boils, abscesses, mixed skin inflammations.
RIVEL ethacridine lactate, antifungal activity Composition:
1 g of gel contains 5 mg of ethacridine lactate.
Action RIVEL:
Gel with antiseptic effect. It acts strongly on Gram-positive bacteria (especially on Streptococcus spp. ) And Gram-negative bacteria and fungi. It does not work on bacterial spores. The bactericidal properties of the preparation are based on the combination of etacridine lactate with bacterial cell DNA and inhibition of nucleic acid biosynthesis. The preparation works not only on the surface of the skin but also penetrates into neighboring tissues. Does not irritate the skin and mucous membranes and does not cause resistance.

Decontamination of skin and mucous membranes, superficial skin damage. Treatment of infected wounds, multiple boils, abscesses, mixed dermatitis (bacterial and fungal).

Interactions:
Due to the risk of inactivation, do not use with oxidizing agents (potassium permanganate, hydrogen peroxide), tannins (tannin), anionic substances (polyethylene glycol) and a solution of sodium borate, salicylic acid, sodium chloride.
Dosage:
Externally. Apply a thin layer of gel to the affected skin or mucous membrane. Apply 2-3 times a day.
