- Vitamin C in the form of a drug. Rutinoscorbin Vitamin C Forte contains 500 mg of ascorbic acid in one capsule. It is indicated for use in the prevention and treatment of vitamin C deficiencies and, in addition, in conditions of reduced immunity.
Composition of Rutinoscorbin Vitamin C Forte:
Active substance: ascorbic acid. One capsule contains 500mg of ascorbic acid and the other ingredients: shellac, sucrose, corn starch, talc, tartaric acid, stearic acid, gelatin, water, riboflavin, sodium lauryl sulfate.
Action of Rutinoscorbin Vitamin C Forte:
The drug contains ascorbic acid - vitamin C. Rutinoscorbin Vitamin C Forte is a prolonged-release capsule, which means that a high concentration of vitamin C in the body lasts more than 12 hours after taking the drug. Vitamin C is an essential ingredient for the proper functioning of the body. It supports the work of the immune system and has antioxidant effects. The drug can be used during pregnancy and lactation (at recommended doses).
Application:
Rutinoscorbin Vitamin C Forte indicated for use in the prevention and treatment of vitamin C deficiency (eg during pregnancy and lactation, in smokers, the elderly, in stress, in people regularly consuming alcohol, when using certain types of diets e.g. elimination diet); in order to maintain immunity to infections, as well as shorten the duration of the cold and reduce its symptoms; in the treatment and prevention of caries, periodontitis, gingivitis, scurvy; helpful in the states of reduced immunity of the organism and helpfully in the treatment of anemia in order to accelerate the process of healing and wound scarring.
Additional information:
Keep the product out of reach of children at room temperature. It is recommended to protect against moisture and light. The drug contains sucrose - you should discuss with your doctor the possibility of using the drug in people with intolerance to certain sugars.
Contraindications:
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to any component of the drug. Do not use in the case of bladder diseases, oxalate urolithiasis, diseases associated with impaired iron storage - thalassemia, hemochromatosis, sideroblastic anemia, as well as other diseases affecting iron content.
Side effects: Adverse reactions
may occur with some people during treatment: allergic reactions, including shortness of breath, angioneurotic edema, skin rash; headache, dizziness; nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, heartburn, abdominal pain; fatigue.
Dosage of Rutinoscorbin capsules Vitamin C Forte:
Use as directed by your doctor or follow the instructions on the leaflet. It is recommended to take 1-2 capsules a day. The capsules should not be chewed, as this may negatively affect the absorption of active substances. Do not use higher than recommended doses.
