Home test for independent use that allows you to monitor the leakage of fetal water. The Saugella AmnioCheck fetal water leakage test is applied to underwear like a sanitary napkin. The color of the insert changes under the influence of amniotic fluid, which has a pH above 6.5. In this way, the test distinguishes between amniotic fluid and uncontrolled urine leakage. It is recommended to use the product in the event of increased risk of leakage of amniotic fluid by a physician, e.g. within 48 hours after aminopuncture, or in women with premature rupture of the membranes in the past. Leakage of amniotic fluid is a serious risk for both mother and child.

Application:

The Saugella AmnioCheck medical device, the amniotic fluid leak test, is intended for self-monitoring of the amniotic fluid leakage. Can be used for physiological and high risk pregnancies.

How to use the Saugella AmnioCheck fetal water leakage test:

For external use only. Use the test as a traditional sanitary napkin. Stick on the underwear. If you feel moisture, check if the insert has changed color. The color change may be total or partial, the color may have different intensities. The color usually changes within 15 minutes of fluid leaking. Blue or green indicates a leakage of amniotic fluid or vaginal infection. This result should be consulted with a doctor as soon as possible. Yellow indicates a leakage of urine, which is common during pregnancy.
