Sebidin Intensive x 20 lozenges

Sebidin Intensive. The medicinal product in the form of lozenges Sebidin Intensive is a drug for use in the symptomatic treatment of pain and throat irritation in the course of infection of the mouth and throat, if the infection is not accompanied by fever. For use over 12 years.

Composition of Sebidin Intensive:

Active substance: Chlorhexidine dihydrochloride (Chlorhexidini dihydrochloridum) and Benzocaine (Benzocainum). One lozenge contains 5mg of chlorhexidine dihydrochloride and 5mg of benzocaine, and excipients: manitol, microcrystalline cellulose (PH 101), povidone K29 / 32, magnesium stearate, sodium cyclamate (E 952), sodium saccharinate (E 954), menthol flavor 611072E, orange flavor 90103-71.

Sebidin Intensive action:

The indication for the use of Sebidin Intensive is pain, throat irritation and noiselessness which occur with infections of the mouth and throat without fever. The medicine can also be taken to treat inflammation of the oral mucosa when it develops as a small mucosal ulcer (aphthae). The active substances are benzocaine and chlorhexidine dihydrochloride.

Application:
Sebidin Intensive is indicated for the treatment of moderate symptoms of feverish infection of the mouth and throat, accompanied by pain. Medicine for adolescents over 12 years of age and for adults.

Additional information: The product should be stored out of reach of children at room temperature. It is recommended to protect against moisture and light. The drug contains less than 1mmol sodium (23mg) in one lozenge, it can be more considered a sodium-free product. Product without sugar.

Contraindications:
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to any component of the drug. Do not use in the case of methaemoglobinaemia. Do not use below 12 years of age. It is not recommended to use during pregnancy and lactation.

Side effects of Sebidin Intensive:

While using this medicine, side effects may occur, although not everybody gets them. Rare: irritation of the tip of the tongue and oral mucosa. Not known: methaemoglobinaemia (blood disease associated with abnormal hemoglobin); allergic skin and mucosal reactions; loss of appetite; taste disturbance (rarely persistent); breathing disorders, nasal congestion, throat irritation; brown discoloration of the teeth, tongue, nausea, indigestion, stomach ache, diarrhea, dry mouth, burning tongue, tingling of the tongue, increased tartar build-up; rash, hives, contact dermatitis, allergic dermatitis; brown discoloration of dental fillings, dental prostheses and other appliances used in the oral cavity.

Dosage of Sebidin Intensive lozenges:

Use as directed by your doctor or as directed on the leaflet. It is recommended to use one tablet every two hours. The maximum daily dose: 8 tablets. In the event that after five days of treatment the symptoms persist or get worse, it is recommended to consult a doctor.
