Sebidin contains the active substance chlorhexidine dihydrochloride, which is an antiseptic substance indicated for inflammation of the throat and the entire mouth. Sebidin is also indicated for the treatment of aphthae and thrush.
Composition:
1 tablet contains the active substances:
Chlorhexidini dihydrochloridum (chlorhexidine dihydrochloride) 5 mg, Acidum ascorbicum (ascorbic acid) 50 mg
Excipients:
sucrose, methylcellulose, talc, magnesium stearate, quinoline yellow, candy flavor
Action:
Antiseptic of the mouth, throat and larynx, thanks to the presence of chlorhexidine bactericidal against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria and antifungal against Candida albicans . Ascorbic acid increases the body's resistance to infection.
Indications:
Pharyngitis. Gingivitis and periodontal disease. Catarrhal inflammation of the oral mucosa. Chronic recurrent aphts, thrush, erosions and pressure sores as a consequence of patients using ill-fitting prosthetic restorations. Mouth decontamination before and after surgery.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to the preparation ingredients. Sebidin Plus should not be used in patients with phenylketonuria (aspartame content).
Precautions:
Use Sebidin with caution in patients with diabetes mellitus and caries tendency (sucrose content). Sebidin Plus does not contain sugar.
Pregnancy and breast-feeding:
Safety in pregnancy (according to US FDA): category B. Use of the preparation during pregnancy and breast-feeding requires medical consultation.
Dosage:
Orally. Adults and children aged 12-17 years: suck slowly 1 tabl. 4 times a day (every 6 hours). The preparation should be used after meals and teeth cleaning. It is not recommended to rinse the mouth or drink plenty of fluids for 2 hours after applying the preparation. It is not recommended to use the preparation for more than 14 days.
