SEBIDIN x 20 lozenges, chlorhexidine dihydrochloride
- SEBIDIN contains as active ingredient chlorhexidine dihydrochloride, which is an antiseptic substance indicated in inflammatory conditions of the mucous membranes of the throat and entire mouth. Sebidin is also indicated for the treatment of aft and thrush.
Composition:
1 tablet contains the active substances:
Chlorhexidine dihydrochloridum (chlorhexidine dihydrochloride) 5 mg, Acidum ascorbicum (ascorbic acid) 50 mg
Excipients:
sucrose, methylcellulose, talc, magnesium stearate, quinoline yellow, bayonet aroma
SEBIDIN, chlorhexidine dihydrochloride Action:
Antiseptics of the oral cavity, pharynx and larynx, due to the presence of chlorhexidine bactericidal activity against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria and antifungal against Candida albicans . Ascorbic acid increases the body's resistance to infection.
Indications:
Mucositis. Gingivitis and periodontal disease. Non-peritoneal mucositis. Afty chronic recurrences, thrush, erosions and bedsores following the use of patients with poorly matched prosthetic restorations. Oral decontamination before and after surgery.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to the components of the preparation. Sebidin Plus should not be used in patients with phenylketonuria (aspartame content).
Precautions:
Carefully use Sebidin in patients with diabetes and tend to caries (sucrose content). Sebidin Plus contains no sugar.
Pregnancy and lactation:
Safety in pregnancy (US FDA): category B. Use of the preparation during pregnancy and lactation requires medical consultation.
Dosage SEBIDIN, chlorhexidine dihydrochloride:
Oral. Adults and children 12-17 years: suck slowly 1 tablespoon. 4 times a day (every 6 h). The preparation should be used after meals and cleansing the teeth. It is not recommended to rinse mouth or drink large amounts of fluids for 2 hours after application. It is not recommended to use the preparation for more than 14 days.
