Septolete Ultra lozenges with lemon and honey flavor is a medicinal product for the symptomatic treatment of sore throat in the course of mild infections in the mouth and throat. For use in adults and children over 6 years of age.
Composition of Septolete Ultra with lemon and honey flavor:
Active substances: benzydamine hydrochloride and cetylpyridinium chloride. Each tablet contains 3 mg of benzydamine hydrochloride and 1 mg of cetylpyridinium chloride and excipients: peppermint oil, levomenthol, sucralose (E 955), anhydrous citric acid (E 330), isomalt (type M) (E 953), lemon flavor, honey flavor, curcumin (E 100) (containing sodium benzoate (E 211)).
Action of Septolete Ultra with lemon and honey flavor:
A drug in the form of lozenges, which contain two active substances - benzydamine hydrochloride and cetylpyridinium chloride. Septolete Ultra with lemon and honey flavor is indicated for the treatment of the symptoms of sore throat. Preparation for topical application with anti-inflammatory, analgesic and antiseptic properties. The lozenges reduce the symptoms of pharyngitis (e.g. dysfunction, pain, swelling, redness, burning) and disinfect the mouth and throat.
Application:
The medicinal product Septolete Ultra with lemon and honey flavor is indicated for the treatment of the symptoms of sore throat associated with mild infections in the mouth and throat (including gingivitis, pharyngitis).
Additional information:
Store the product out of reach of children at room temperature. It is recommended to protect against moisture and light. The drug contains isomalt (E 953) - people with known intolerance to certain sugars should discuss the possibility of using the drug with their doctor. The drug contains sodium benzoate (E 211) - the substance may cause slight irritation to the skin, eyes and mucous membranes. Irritation may occur with long-term use of the drug, it is recommended to discontinue use of the preparation and consult a physician. The use of the drug in breast-feeding women should be discussed with your doctor. The preparation should not be used with other antiseptic drugs. Do not use the drug simultaneously with milk, as it reduces the effectiveness of the active substances.
Contraindications:
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to any component of the drug. Do not use in children under 6 years of age. Do not use during pregnancy.
Side effects:
Some people may experience side effects when used. Rare: hypersensitivity reactions; hives, increasing skin sensitivity to sunlight (photosensitivity); sudden, uncontrolled narrowing of the airways in the lungs (bronchospasm). Very rare: local irritation of the mouth, burning sensation in the mouth. Not known: burning sensation in the oral mucosa, loss of sensation (anesthesia) in the oral mucosa. Usually these symptoms are temporary.
Dosage of Septolete Ultra lozenges with lemon and honey flavor:
Use as directed by your doctor or according to the directions on the leaflet. Suck the lozenges slowly, use every 3-6 hours. Adults, adolescents over 12 years of age: the recommended daily dose - 3-4 lozenges. Children from 6 to 12 years of age: the recommended daily dose - 3 lozenges. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Do not use before or during a meal, do not use while drinking. After using the lozenge, do not eat or drink for at least an hour. Do not use the drug immediately before or after brushing your teeth. Do not use for more than 7 days. If symptoms persist or worsen after 3 days of using the drug, consult your doctor.
