Lemon and honey Septolete Ultra lozenges are a medicinal product for the symptomatic treatment of sore throat associated with mild infections in the mouth and throat. For use in adults and children over 6 years of age.

Composition of Septolete Ultra with lemon and honey flavor:

Active substances: benzydamine hydrochloride and cetylpyridinium chloride. Each lozenge contains 3mg of benzydamine hydrochloride and 1mg of cetylpyridinium chloride and excipients: peppermint oil, levomenthol, sucralose (E 955), citric acid anhydrous (E 330), isomalt (type M) (E 953), lemon flavor, honey flavor, curcumin (E 100) (containing sodium benzoate (E 211)).

A medicine in the form of lozenges that contain two active substances - benzydamine hydrochloride and cetylpyridinium chloride. The medicinal product Septolete Ultra with lemon and honey flavor is indicated for the treatment of sore throat symptoms. Preparation for local use with anti-inflammatory, analgesic and antiseptic effects. Lozenges reduce the symptoms of pharyngitis (e.g. dysfunction, pain, swelling, redness, burning) and disinfect the mouth and throat.

Application:
The medicinal product Septolete Ultra with lemon and honey flavor indicated for the treatment of symptoms of sore throat, which is accompanied by mild infections in the mouth and throat (including gingivitis, pharyngitis).

Additional information:
The product should be stored out of reach of children at room temperature. It is recommended to protect against moisture and light. The medicine contains isomalt (E 953) - people with known intolerance to some sugars should discuss with the doctor the possibility of using the drug. The drug contains sodium benzoate (E 211) - the substance may cause slight irritation to the skin, eyes and mucous membranes. With prolonged use of the drug irritation may occur, it is recommended to discontinue use of the preparation and consult a doctor. The possibility of using the drug in breast-feeding women should be discussed with your doctor. It should not be used with other antiseptics. Do not use this medicine together with milk, as it reduces the effectiveness of the active substances.

Contraindications:
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to any component of the drug. Do not use on children under 6 years of age. Do not use during pregnancy.

Side effects:
Some people may experience side effects when using them. Rare: hypersensitivity reactions; hives, increased skin sensitivity to sunlight (photosensitivity); sudden, uncontrolled narrowing of the airways in the lungs (bronchospasm). Very rare: local mouth irritation, burning sensation in the mouth. Not known: burning sensation of the oral mucosa, loss of sensation (anesthesia) of the oral mucosa. Usually these symptoms are temporary.

Dosage of lozenges Septolete Ultra with lemon and honey flavor:

Use as directed by your doctor or as directed on the leaflet. Suck pastilles slowly, use every 3-6 hours. Adults, adolescents over 12 years of age: recommended daily dose - 3-4 pills. Children from 6 to 12 years of age: recommended daily dose - 3 pills. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Do not use before or during a meal, do not use while drinking. After using the pill, do not eat or drink for at least an hour. Do not use the medicine immediately before or after brushing your teeth. Do not use for more than 7 days. If the symptoms persist or worsen after 3 days of use of the drug, a doctor should be consulted.
