The drug must not be used in the case of hypersensitivity to iodine or hypofunction of the thyroid gland, which can be characterized, for example, by rapid exhaustion, lack of drive, freezing, depressive moods and/or weight gain, or in the case of thyroid enlargement (swelling of the glands in the neck area) without functional disorders. Due to insufficient studies, the drug should not be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding, nor in children under 12 years of age.
Side effects:
If Presselin Thyri Badiaga is taken for a longer period of time and/or in higher doses, in rare cases (more than 1 in 10,000 people treated) an enlargement of the thyroid gland (swelling of the glands in the neck area) can occur. Sudden discontinuation of Lycopus preparations can lead to an intensification of the complaint complex
