The medicinal product Soledum Forte 0.2 g indicated for use in the treatment of wet cough as an expectorant. In addition, the capsules can be used as an adjunct in acute, non-suppurative sinusitis. The active substance in the drug is cineole.
Composition of Soledum Forte 0.2 g:
Active substance: cineol (Cineolum). One gastro-resistant capsule contains 200 mg of cineol and excipients: medium chain fatty acid triglycerides, gelatin, liquid, non-crystallising sorbitol, glycerol 85%, purified water, Surelease-Nutrateric suspension (ethylcellulose, medium chain triglycerides, oleic acid, concentrated ammonium hydroxide, purified water), NS Enteric-Nutrateric (sodium alginate, stearic acid), Candelilla wax.
Action of Soledum Forte 0.2 g:
Each capsule of Soledum Forte 0.2 g contains 200 mg of the active substance - cineol. The indication for the use of the drug is a wet (productive) cough. The drug acts as an expectorant. Additionally, the drug is intended to be used as an adjunct in the treatment of acute, non-suppurative sinusitis.

Additional information:
Store the product out of reach of children at room temperature. It is recommended to protect against moisture and light. One capsule is equivalent to 0.0015 bread units. You should contact your doctor if the disease is associated with a significant hypersensitivity of the respiratory tract, as well as if the symptoms persist for more than 7 days or when dyspnoea, fever, purulent or bloody expectoration appear. The possibility of using the drug in pregnant and lactating women - only after consulting a doctor. The drug contains sorbitol - 17 mg of sorbitol in one capsule. Possible symptoms of drug poisoning: disorders of the central nervous system, e.g. disturbance of consciousness, fatigue, weakness of the limbs, constriction of the pupil, and in severe cases, coma and respiratory disorders.
Contraindications:
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to any component of the drug. Do not use in the case of whooping cough or pertussis. Do not use in children under 12 years of age.
Side effects:
Some people may experience side effects while taking the drug. Uncommon: gastrointestinal disturbances (nausea, diarrhea); rare: hypersensitivity reactions (face swelling, itching, breathing difficulties, cough) and difficulty swallowing. If a hypersensitivity reaction occurs, discontinue use of the drug immediately.
Dosage of Soledum Forte 0.2 g capsules:

The recommended dose for adults and adolescents over 12 years of age: single dose - one capsule (200 mg of cineol), daily dose - 2-3 capsules (400-600 mg of cineol). Continuation of therapy; long-term treatment - use one capsule twice a day. Treatment duration: adapt to the nature, severity and development of the disease.
