Beneficial relief from skin inflammation

The skin fulfills many important functions: it protects us from heat and cold, germs and harmful environmental influences, regulates body temperature and allows us to feel touch and pain. If the skin becomes unbalanced, protection cannot be maintained. Pathogens can penetrate more easily and the skin becomes more susceptible to infection.

Tannin preparations have proven themselves in medicine for the treatment of inflammatory, itchy and weeping skin diseases. Tannosynt® _liquid is a concentrate with 40% tannin and is ideal for the preparation of soothing baths and poultices. The contained medicinal substance Tamol has an astringent (contracting), anti-inflammatory and antipruritic effect and, as a liquid solution, gets into even the smallest, hard-to-reach skin folds. Tannosynt ® liquid is cortisone-free and can be used on infants due to its good skin tolerance.

Anti-inflammatory and antipruritic

Tannosynt ®liquid contains 40% of the skin-friendly synthetic tanning agent Tamol, which, due to its anti-inflammatory and anti-itching properties, can provide rapid relief and healing of inflamed, weeping skin in numerous skin diseases. The liquid concentrate is free of cortisone and contains no fragrances or preservatives. The drug is also suitable for use during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR USE:
Tannosynt ® liquid is only suitable for external use and must not be used undiluted! For partial baths or poultices, 5 liters of water are mixed with 5 ml of Tannosynt ®mixed liquid (= 1/3 measuring cup), which corresponds to a dilution of 1:1000. For a children's bath add 5 ml Tannosynt ® to 25 liters of water, for a full bath for adults add 30 ml Tannosynt ® (= 2 measuring cups) to 100 liters of water (dilution 1:5000). The recommended bathing time is 10 to 15 minutes, the bathing temperature should be between 32 and 35 °C. Tannosynt ® liquid should not be used at the same time as soap.

DIAPER DERMATITIS

Babies easily develop an inflammatory rash with reddening, pustules and blisters in the diaper area. Accompanying a treatment with Tannosynt ® Lotio, baths with Tannosynt ® liquid can promote healing.

NEURODERMITIS

TANNOSYNT liquid

Tannosynt ® is suitable for supportive therapy in neurodermatitis. In acute phases, compresses with Tannosynt ® liquid can help fight inflammation and relieve itching.

ACUTE ECZEMA

Contact dermatitis is caused by direct contact with a substance. In the case of a weeping rash, compresses or partial baths with Tannosynt ® have an anti-inflammatory effect and at the same time the itching goes down.

FREQUENT QUESTIONS & ANSWERS:

How often should Tannosynt ® liquid be used in the event of an inflammation?
Moist compresses using compresses with diluted Tannosynt ®liquid should be used at least twice a day, especially in the initial phase of treatment.
In the case of bath therapy, it is recommended that it be carried out daily at the beginning. As the disease progresses, application two to three times a week is advisable. The ideal bathing temperature is between 32 and 35 °C, the bathing time should not be more than ten to 15 minutes. After the bath, gently pat the affected areas dry so as not to irritate the sensitive skin. In addition, Tannosynt ® Lotio or Tannosynt ® Cream can be rubbed into the skin. A bath with Tannosynt ®
is recommended for a childliquid in the evening. This way it calms down and can sleep better at night without the annoying itching. What should be considered

when treating with Tannosynt ® liquid?

liquid also suitable for treating intertrigo?
Yes, especially in order to reach parts of the body that are difficult to access, a full or partial bath with Tannosynt ® liquid can effectively support the treatment of this inflammatory, weeping skin disease. Compresses soaked with diluted tanning agent or linen cloths that are placed on the affected areas of the skin have also proven effective.
