Gentle help for sore skin
Our skin has numerous important tasks: It protects the body from heat and cold, pathogens and harmful substances. It regulates body temperature and lets us feel pain and touch. If it loses this protective function, germs can penetrate and cause infections.
Due to their anti-inflammatory and soothing properties, tanning agents have always been used in the treatment of inflammatory, itchy and weeping skin diseases. Tannosynt Lotio with the unique combination of the well-tolerated synthetic tanning agent Tamol and zinc oxide soothes sore skin and has a drying effect. The drug forms a protective film over diseased skin areas and adheres well. Tannosynt relieves itching and burning and leaves the skin feeling pleasantly soft. The cortisone-free suspension is ideal for use on weeping, irritated skin.

Has a double anti-inflammatory effect
Tannosynt Lotio not only contains 1% of the synthetic tanning agent tamol, but also zinc oxide. The combination of the two anti-inflammatory active ingredients accelerates the healing of sore skin and strengthens the skin barrier twice over. Redness and swelling go down and unpleasant itching is noticeably reduced. Due to the special composition, the lotion can be easily spread over irritated skin. Tannosynt Lotio has proven itself not only for use in children, but also for many skin diseases in adults, such as shingles and eczema.

For dehydration in acute, weeping skin diseases

  • Without cortisone
  • Anti-inflammatory and anti-itch
  • Dries quickly and adheres well to the skin
  • For children and adults

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR USE:

Shake the bottle well before use so that the zinc oxide is distributed evenly. Unless otherwise prescribed by a doctor, Tannosynt Lotio is applied thinly to the affected areas of skin once or twice a day with a finger or a cotton swab. Smaller skin areas can be dabbed or brushed with a cotton swab. During use, make sure that the suspension does not come into contact with the eyes and always keep the medicine out of the reach and sight of children. Tannosynt Lotio is not suitable for hairy scalps.

In the diaper area of babies it is easy to develop an inflammatory rash, usually with redness, blisters and pustules. To keep irritated skin dry, diapers should be avoided as often as possible. The application of Tannosynt Lotio can quickly relieve itching and inflammation and promote healing.

CHICKEN POX This contagious infectious disease occurs mainly in children and is accompanied by an intensely itchy rash. Gently apply Tannosynt Lotio to the chickenpox blisters with a cotton swab. This relieves the itching and thanks to the zinc shake mixture as a basis, the weeping blisters dry.

FREQUENT QUESTIONS & ANSWERS:

How long should Tannosynt Lotio be used?
Use Tannosynt Lotio until the symptoms of skin inflammation such as itching, redness and burning have subsided. In general, a treatment period of one to two weeks is sufficient. If the symptoms have not improved after 14 days of regular use or if the symptoms recur after the treatment has been completed, please contact your doctor. In the treatment of hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating), Tannosynt Lotio can also be used over a period of several weeks without a doctor's consultation.

Does Tannosynt Lotio also help against itching from insect bites?
An itchy, burning swelling after an insect bite is the result of a reaction to the insect venom. To reduce swelling and itching, you can apply Tannosynt Lotio to the affected area with a cotton swab. If an insect bite causes severe reactions such as shortness of breath, circulatory problems or very severe swelling, it may be an insect venom allergy. In this case, seek medical help immediately.

Can I use Tannosynt Lotio during pregnancy?
Yes, Tannosynt Lotio can also be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Please consult your doctor before treatment with the drug in order to rule out any health risks.

Does health insurance cover the cost of Tannosynt?
Yes, all Tannosynt preparations are medicinal products and can be prescribed and reimbursed for children up to the age of 12 on prescription. In exceptional cases, this also applies to young people up to the age of 18.

Why are synthetic tanning agents used in Tannosynt instead of natural ones?
The active ingredient Tamol in Tannosynt is based on the mode of action of natural tanning agents and also has a drying, anti-inflammatory and anti-itching effect. Tamol is manufactured in a complex process and is subject to the strictest quality guidelines. The advantage of the synthetic tanning agent lies in the consistent quality and concentration of the active ingredient. In addition, in contrast to natural tanning agents, there is no pollution from environmental influences (eg pesticides). Last but not least, the good skin compatibility of Tamol is an important plus point.
