Key homeopathic uses include attempting to treat anxiety and "fear caused by insecurity", digestive disorders and mucosal inflammation, and ailments characterized symptomatically by burning pain. It was also used once for treatment of syphilis.

Precautions for use and warnings:
There is insufficient documented experience with the use of this medicinal product in children. It should therefore not be used in children under 12 years of age.
This medicine contains sucrose. Please take Thyreoidea / Thymus comp. only after consulting your doctor if you know that you have an intolerance to certain sugars.
Dosage and method of application:
Unless otherwise prescribed, dissolve 5-10 globules velati once a week to once a day under the tongue.
