  • TRIBIOTIC ointment in disposable sachet contains a combination of ingredients acting bactericidal antibiotic. Tribiotic, is indicated for the treatment of minor wounds, scratches, cuts superinfected pathogenic bacteria.

 

TRIBIOTIC, skin infection treatment Composition:


1 sachet (1 g ointment) contains 10 mg of bacitracin in the form of zinc salt, 5 mg of neomycin as sulphate and 0.833 mg of polymyxin B sulfate in the form.

 

Use TRIBIOTIC, skin infection treatment:

Preparation 3 using synergism of bactericidal antibiotics. Bacitracin is an antibiotic polypeptide acting mainly against Gram-positive bacteria (such as Streptococcus spp.).Neomycin - aminoglycoside antibiotic - including work the Enterobacteriaceae (especially indole-positive Proteus and Klebsiella spp.) and Staphylococcus aureus. Polymyxin B acts primarily on Gram-negative bacteria, especially Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Enterobacteriaceae sticks.

Contraindications TRIBIOTIC, skin infection treatment: Hypersensitivity to the preparation ingredients, severe kidney failure, organ damage hearing. Very carefully used on large areas of damaged skin (more than 20% body surface area), oozing lesions and varicose ulcers; Do not use the long-term due to the growing resistance of bacteria and the possibility of toxicity and superinfection yeast. Pregnant used only if the expected benefits outweigh the potential risk to the fetus.

Interactions TRIBIOTIC, skin infection treatment: In the case of absorption of the formulation: diuretics (ethacrynic acid, furosemide), other aminoglycoside antibiotics, some cephalosporins enhances the action of ambient and nephrotoxic; with narcotic analgesics, muscle relaxants and anesthetics may occur blockade of neuromuscular junctions.

Dosage: A small amount of ointment is applied 1-3 times a day to clean the place of injury. It is not recommended to use for longer than 7 days.
