When you think of curry, the currywurst comes to mind or the Indian curry as a preparation and cooking method for tasty South Asian dishes with deliciously creamy sauces. The curry spice mix gets its yellow color from a plant with enormous potential, called turmeric or turmeric.

The ginger plant is an integral part of Ayurvedic teaching. Its effects are described as hot, energizing and cleansing. As early as 500 BC The Arabs brought turmeric to the Mediterranean via the old caravan routes.

The plant contains numerous ingredients that make it very interesting as a tried and tested home remedy. In addition to essential oil, it contains orange colored curcuminoids. The total extract is called curcumin. Unfortunately, the ingredients in the gastrointestinal tract are very poorly absorbed and transported into the blood.

One capsule contains 400 mg organic extract from Curcuma longa, adjusted to 12 mg curcumin per capsule. Of course, the black pepper also comes from organic farming.
