Umckalor is a herbal medicine to reduce the symptoms of acute bronchitis, coughing up aids.
- Before you Umckalor
Umckalor Do not
- If you are allergic sidoides pelargonium (geranium root) extract, or any of the other ingredients of this medicine (listed in section 6);
- If you have severe liver problems, because there is not enough experience.
Warnings and Precautions
Check with your doctor or pharmacist before taking Umckalor:
- If you have any type of liver disorders.
If your condition does not improve within 7 days, the temperature takes a few days, suffer from shortness of breath or ATKO sputum with blood, gets any kind of liver problems, talk to your doctor.
Other medicines and Umckalor
If you are taking or have recently taken any other medicines, or because you are not sure, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.
Drug-drug interactions have been observed to date.
Due to the potential impact Umckalor blood clotting, it can not be ruled out that Umckalor enhances blood clotting, such as phenprocoumon and warfarin.
Pregnancy and breast-feeding
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, you think you may be pregnant, or are planning to become pregnant before taking this medicine, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.
Pregnancy and breast-feeding should not be used because there is not enough data about the drug during this period.
Driving and using machines
Umckalor ability to drive and use machines.
Umckalor contains ethanol (alcohol)
This product contains a small volume of ethanol (alcohol), less than 100 mg per dose.
- How Umckalor
Always take this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. If in doubt, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
If your doctor has not designated otherwise, the usual dose is:
- a) in adults and children over 12 years of age take 30 drops 3 times a day,
- b) for children between 6 and 12 years of age take 20 drops three times a day,
- c) young children of 1 to 5 years of 10 drops three times a day.
Drop to drink a small amount of water in the morning, afternoon and evening.
Keep the bottle upright, if necessary, easily shaken.
duration of treatment
Once symptoms of the disease is reduced, it is recommended to continue to use Umckalor few days in order to avoid relapse. The duration of treatment should not be longer than 3 weeks.
If you take a large dose Umckalor?
In case of overdose Umckalor no symptoms so far not been observed.
If you forget to Umckalor
Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed dose. Continue on Umckalor as prescribed by your doctor or as described in this leaflet.

- Possible side effects
This medicine, like all others, can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
The side effects include all reactions observed during treatment Umckalor time, even those resulting from administration of a higher dose or for a longer period of time.
Uncommon (occurring in less than 1 in 100 but more than 1 out of 1,000 people)
Gastrointestinal ailments.
Rare (occurring in less than 1 in 1,000, but more than 1 in 10,000 treated people)
Minor bleeding from the nose.
Minor bleeding from the gums.
Hypersensitivity reactions.

Keep this medicine out of the sight and reach of children place.
Do not store above 30 ° C.

- The active substance is geraniums (Pelargonium sidoides) root extract liquid. 1 g (= 0.975 ml) solution of 800 mg geraniums root liquid extract (1: 8-10). Extraction solvent: 11% (m / m) ethanol.
- Ingredients are glycerol (85%).

Umckalor is light brown or reddish-brown liquid.
Pack of 20 ml and 50 ml.
