VAGILACT Description and application:

VAGILACT contains 10 single-use vaginal tablets.
The tablets should be removed from the blister immediately before use and used only once.

Be careful when removing the tablets from the blister. Gently press on one side of the tablet, not in the middle, otherwise the tablet may break.
You can also cut off a small part of the back of the blister, peel off the aluminum foil and remove the tablet.

Insert the tablet deep into the vagina so that it dissolves quickly.

VAGILACT Special warnings and precautions for use:

Keep VAGILACT out of the reach and sight of children.
Never swallow tablets.
Do not use the tablets if the VAGILACT pack is damaged or opened and if the tablets are broken. This can result from poor storage and render the product unusable. The tablets may have small dots on their surface, which is caused by the natural properties of their ingredients.
Before use, check the expiration date.
Do not use the product if the expiration date has expired.

VAGILACT Application:

VAGILACT is a medical device in the form of vaginal tablets, which helps with any transient imbalance of the vaginal microflora.
The genitourinary system has a characteristic microbacterial flora that physiologically acts as a natural defense against bacterial infections: the pH level of normal vaginal secretions is about 4.5 and this acidity is maintained by normal levels of estrogen and constant milk flora.
The bacterial flora in the vaginal mucosa consists mainly of lactic acid bacteria. These bacteria through their metabolism produce lactic acid, which maintains an acidic environment in the vaginal mucosa. This acidity prevents and protects against the invasion and development of pathogenic microflora. The microbiological balance of the genitourinary system can be temporarily disturbed by hormonal factors, such as the menstrual cycle, menopause, poor hygiene, as well as the frequent use of tampons, contraceptives or antibiotics.
In these cases, when the composition of the microflora of the genitourinary system is changed by reducing the number of lactic acid bacteria, it can lead to the growth of pathogenic microorganisms and the occurrence of bacterial infection in the vagina. The most common symptoms of a bacterial infection are burning, itching and increased vaginal discharge.

Mechanism of action of VAGILACT:

Each tablet contains lactic acid bacteria, lactic acid and soy isoflavones.
The tablet disintegrates in the vagina and releases lactic acid bacteria and lactic acid within a few minutes, thus reducing the pH level in the vagina to a level of 4-4.5 and stopping the growth of pathogenic microflora. Soy isoflavones, which are also contained in the tablet, stimulate the formation of lactic acid in the vaginal mucosa, lower the pH level and help restore the normal condition and elasticity of the vaginal walls.

VAGILACT Method of administration and dosage:

It is recommended to use one vaginal tablet, preferably at night before bed, for 10 days.
Follow the instructions. Start taking the tablets 10 days before the start of the menstrual cycle and / or immediately afterwards. If necessary, you can extend the use of the product up to 20 days without consulting your gynecologist.

Warning:

Do not use this product at the same time as other means for vaginal use without first consulting your gynecologist.
VAGILACT does not cause skin irritation, but in case of hypersensitivity, consult your doctor immediately.
From time to time, especially during the first days of application, itching may occur, which disappears over the next 2-3 days.
