VENOLEX Purpose:
The bioflavonoid diosmin supports capillary endurance and venous tone by helping to improve blood circulation to the lower extremities.
VENOLEX Composition:
The recommended daily dose of two tablets contains 800 mg of micronized bioflavonoid diosmin from citrus fruits and excipients (Calcium phosphate, microcrystalline cellulose, sodium starch glycolate, Colloidal silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate).
VENOLEX Characteristic:
The main function of the veins in the systemic circulation is to return blood from all organs to the heart. Our upright position determines the difficult task of the venous system to transport blood in the opposite direction to gravity. Pushing up is done by the pressure exerted by the muscles during the movement of the lower limbs. The one-way upward movement of the blood is determined by venous "valves" that do not allow the blood to return. Some risk factors such as prolonged standing, overweight, pregnancy and others. can lead to dysfunction of these valves associated with blood retention in the veins of the lower extremities, increased pressure in them, and hence damage to the wall of the capillaries and fluid leaking out of the vessels.
Disomin is one of the many bioflavonoids used to support capillary function and microcirculation. The absorption of diosmin through the gastrointestinal tract is improved by micronization (grinding) of its particles below 10 microns.
Side effects:
Rare cases of gastric irritation and hypersensitivity reactions to diosmin have been reported.
As a rule, pregnant and lactating women should consult a doctor before taking medication or supplements.
Animal studies do not indicate harmful effects with respect to the fetus.
Due to the lack of data on the excretion of diosmin in breast milk, the use of Venolex during breast-feeding is not recommended.
VENOLEX Dosage and method of administration:
1 tablet 2 times a day with meals for a period of at least 2 months.
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose!
Do not use as a substitute for a varied diet!
