Vigantoletten thanks to the vitamin D content relieves the symptoms of rickets and osteomalacia as well as osteoporosis. It has a positive effect on the bone mineralization process and helps to strengthen immunity.

Vigantoletten vitamin D Composition:
1 tablet contains: 25 micrograms of cholecalciferol equivalent to 1000 IU vitamin C, mannitol, microcrystalline cellulose, anhydrous colloidal silica, corn starch, sodium carboxymethyl starch (type C), talc, magnesium stearate.

Vigantoletten vitamin D Action:
Vigantoletten is a drug that provides the body with vitamin D. This component helps to normalize calcium and phosphate metabolism. It is responsible for the increase in calcium and phosphate absorption in the gastrointestinal tract, reabsorption of calcium in the kidneys and the level of calcium and phosphate in the blood through active metabolic components. It blocks the production of parathyroid hormone from parathyroid glands. It helps to improve bone mineralization and prevents calcium loss from the body.

Vigantoletten vitamin D Contraindications:
- hypersensitivity to the product components
- hypercalcaemia and / or hypercalcinia
- nephrolithiasis and / or severe renal insufficiency,
- alleged hypoparathyroidism.

Indications:
It is recommended to use the preparation to prevent rickets and osteomalacia in children and adults, as well as diseases associated with the identified risk of vitamin C deficiency. Also administer in rickets and osteomalacia and as an auxiliary in osteoporosis.

Dosage:
Use orally. To prevent rickets: administer 12.5 mcg (500 IU) x 1 / 24h to newborns, infants and children; premature babies: 25 mcg (1000 IU) x 1 / 24h (after 40 weeks of age the dose should be reduced). For the prevention of conditions associated with the risk of vitamin D deficiency, use 12.5-25 mcg (500-1000 IU) daily; doses above 500 mcg / 24h are recommended to be administered only after hypocalcaemia and vitamin D deficiency have been diagnosed. Use 25 mcg (1000 IU) daily as an alternative to osteoporosis.
