Weleda Euphrasia comp. Eye ointment
for conjunctivitis and stye
Euphrasia comp. Eye ointment from Weleda is an anthroposophic medicine for conjunctivitis and stye.
Euphrasia comp. Weleda eye ointment helps with:
conjunctivitis, especially for use at night
barleycorn
What is a barleycorn?
A stye (hordeolum) usually develops as a reaction to acute bacterial infections of the eyelid glands. Either the sweat glands on the eyelid or a sebaceous gland inside the eyelid are inflamed with pus. The first sign is a unilateral, grain-sized, red swelling on the edge of the eyelid or eyelid, which is often very painful and later shows accumulations of pus.
Although the stye is usually harmless, it should be treated properly. If symptoms such as redness, swelling and pain do not improve within 2 days despite eye ointment or eye drops, a doctor should be consulted.
Effective aspects:
The combination of coneflower, eyebright and calendula relieves the symptoms of conjunctivitis and stye. Calendula and coneflower have an anti-inflammatory effect and promote the healing process. Eyebright relieves the symptoms (pain, itching, burning) of inflamed and watery eyes.
Without preservatives.
Well tolerated.
User:
For the whole family - from infancy.
Dosage and method of application:
Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, insert into the conjunctival sac several times a day.
Notice:
In the case of conjunctivitis, Euphrasia D3 eye drops are recommended, also available as single doses. Use can be recommended during the day, in addition to Euphrasia comp. Eye ointment, which is then preferably used at night.
