1 ml solution for injection contains the active ingredient:
ascorbic acid (vitamin C) 100 mg.
The other ingredients are: sodium hydrogen carbonate, water for injections, nitrogen (as protective gas).
Areas of application:
methaemoglobinaemia in childhood, vitamin C substitution in parenteral nutrition.
Contraindications:
The doctor decides whether vitamin C-Loges® solution for injection should be used in oxalate urolithiasis and iron storage diseases (thalassemia, hemochromatosis, sideroblastic anemia).
Side effects:
Respiratory and cutaneous hypersensitivity reactions have been observed very rarely.
