Vitamin D3 K2 Hevert plus Calcium and Magnesium – with the 4-way combination for healthy bones and muscles.

The combination of vitamins D3 and K2 with calcium and magnesium in one capsule has the advantage that the contained micronutrients support each other's effects.

Vitamin D

Vitamin D keeps the immune system strong, supports the maintenance of normal bones and the normal function of muscles. Vitamin D is also important for cell division, the absorption and utilization of calcium and phosphorus, and thus for a normal calcium level in the blood. The microencapsulated vitamin D3 contained in Vitamin D3 K2 Hevert plus Calcium and Magnesium is a form of vitamin D that is enclosed in tiny capsules to improve its stability and thus maintain the best possible effectiveness. These capsules consist of a shell that encloses the vitamin D3 and protects it from external influences such as light, oxygen, and moisture. This keeps the vitamin D3 stable for longer and allows it to enter the body with better protection before it is released.

Vitamin K2

Vitamin K is particularly important for the activation of clotting factors in the blood and the regulation of calcium levels. It is primarily involved in the formation of osteocalcin, which is needed for bone formation. Like vitamin D, vitamin K contributes to bone stability. Vitamin D3 K2 Hevert plus Calcium and Magnesium contains vitamin K2 in the special form of menaquinone MK-7 all-trans, which ensures optimal biological activity. This leads to very good distribution in the body and particularly long-lasting effectiveness. The preparation is lactose and gluten-free and also suitable for vegetarians.

Calcium and magnesium

The minerals calcium and magnesium are stored as salts in the bones and give them strength and stability. If necessary, they can also be returned to the bloodstream to take on other functions. For example, magnesium and calcium are needed in energy metabolism, which provides the "fuel" for muscle work. Fit and active

into old age

As we age, the body can build less bone substance; bone density begins to decline from the age of 30. Regular exercise and sport can help counteract bone loss and support bone and muscle health. A good supply of micronutrients such as vitamins D and K2, as well as calcium and magnesium, is important here. Taking Vitamin D3 K2 Hevert plus Calcium and Magnesium is therefore particularly recommended for people

: • over the age of 30
• with a lack of exercise or limited mobility
• who have little exposure to sunlight.

Are you well supplied with vitamin D?

Approximately 50% of people in Germany are deficient in vitamin D. The body absorbs only a small amount of vitamin D through food, as few foods contain significant amounts of vitamin D. Vitamin D is a vitamin that the body can produce itself. Vitamin D is produced in the skin when exposed to sunlight. Since we can only replenish our vitamin D stores in this country through sun exposure during the summer months, taking vitamin D supplements is a good way to keep the body's vitamin D levels at an optimal level. Spending most of our time indoors (e.g., when working in an office), consciously avoiding the sun (wearing clothing and sunscreens with a sun protection factor), or taking medication can also negatively impact vitamin D levels. Furthermore, the body's ability to produce vitamin D itself decreases with age. Since the skin of dark-skinned people is less permeable to UV light, vitamin D production can only occur when sunlight is intense enough. In our latitudes, it is therefore difficult for people with darker skin to ensure their vitamin D supply through their own production alone.

This questionnaire can give you an indication of whether you may not be sufficiently supplied with vitamin D: http://www.d3-aktion.hevert.de/selbsttest/story.html

Signs of a vitamin D deficiency

Signs of a possible vitamin D deficiency include, for example, reduced muscle strength, muscle and joint pain, a weakened immune system, and susceptibility to infections.

Vitamin D robbers

Anyone who takes medication on a long-term basis should monitor their vitamin D levels. Taking vitamin D can improve the effectiveness of some medications or reduce their side effects. Taking other medications (e.g., stomach medications, antiepileptics, anti-allergy medications, Parkinson's medications, cancer medications) results in vitamin D being broken down more quickly in the body. Therefore, it is important to ensure a good vitamin D supply, especially when taking such medications.

Daily is better than weekly.

With regard to the effect of vitamin D on the immune system, taking it daily is better than weekly. This has to do with the so-called paracrine pathway of vitamin D, in which vitamin D is utilized directly in the cells. Depending on how vitamin D is metabolized, its metabolites support either bones and muscles or the immune system. The endocrine effect via the bloodstream has a positive impact on calcium homeostasis and bone health. The paracrine effect, in which the vitamin is only activated in the cellular tissue, primarily supports the immune system. Vitamin D3 supplements only have a half-life of approximately 24 hours in the body. The paracrine effect is therefore only optimally guaranteed with daily administration, while the endocrine effect is achieved with both daily and weekly administration. This means that daily vitamin D administration is superior to weekly administration because it supports a broader physiological spectrum of action.
