When hot lava ash sank onto the moist ground or into the sea during volcanic eruptions in ancient times, it combined with the heated water. Numerous minerals emerged from this forced merger, including zeolite. Healing power Zeolite contains a very large proportion of 93% volcanic clinoptilolite, which has an enormous surface area. This makes the powder an excellent binding agent. Clinoptilolite is composed primarily of silicon and aluminum atoms held together by oxygen atoms. When dry, the powder absorbs a lot of moisture along with other substances such as poisons or pollutants and stores them in the hollow spaces. The cations and water molecules stored there can exchange ions and absorb and release substances.
