- Indications for the use of Intractum Hyperici are: psycho-vegetative disorders, depressive moods, anxiety, nervous anxiety.
Composition:
Alcoholic extract from fresh St. John's wort. The product contains 52-62% ethanol.
Action:
Preparation of natural origin soothing depression. The mechanism of action of hypericins is inhibition of the enzymes responsible for the catabolism of neurotransmitters in the CNS.
Indications:
Psycho-vegetative disorders, depressive moods, anxiety, nervous anxiety.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to sunlight. Children up to 6 years of age
Pregnancy and breast-feeding: The
safety of use during pregnancy and breastfeeding has not been established.
Adverse reaction:
Frequent use of the preparation increases sensitivity to the sun's rays and may cause phototoxic reactions (skin burns, headache), especially in people with fair complexion.
Dosing:
Oral: 5 ml of the preparation 4 times a day in a small amount of liquid, preferably fruit juice. Treatment should be continued for 4 weeks.
Notes:
The single dose (5 ml) contains 2.4 mg of ethanol, but the use according to the recommended dosage does not exceed the level of physiological alcohol in the blood.
