RAPISOM 25 mg doxylamine succinate, sleep disorders Indications: 

Short-term symptomatic treatment of occasional sleep disorders in adults.

Warnings: This medicinal product contains 106.70 mg sodium per sachet, equivalent to 5.34% of the WHO recommended maximum daily intake of 2 g sodium for an adult. This medicinal product contains 23.1 mg aspartame per sachet. Aspartame is a source of phenylalanine and can be harmful to patients with phenylketonuria.

The recommended dose is one sachet (equivalent to 25 mg doxylamisuccinate). In the case of severe sleep disorders, the content of two sachets (equivalent to 50 mg doxylamine succinate) can be taken as the maximum dose. RapiSom ^® is taken about ½ to 1 hour before bedtime.

In the case of acute sleep disorders, treatment should be limited to single doses if possible. The duration of the application should be as short as possible. In general, the duration of treatment can range from a few days to a week. The treatment should be stopped after two weeks of daily intake at the latest.
