Indication Restless, sleep disorders, lemon balm, valerian root extract, EUVEGAL tablets :
- The preparation is a herbal medicine for sedation.
- The drug is used for restlessness and nervous insomnia.

- Always take the preparation exactly as directed. Please check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, the usual dose is:

for the treatment of restlessness
- For adults and adolescents over 12 years of age, 1 film-coated tablet twice a day.
- for children from 6 years 1 film-coated tablet once a day.

for the treatment of nervous insomnia
- for adults and adolescents from 12 years of age 1 film-coated tablet ½ to 1 hour before bedtime. If necessary, you can also take 1 film-coated tablet earlier in the evening.
- for children from 6 years 1 film-coated tablet 1/2 to 1 hour before bedtime.
- It is not intended for use in children under 6 years of age.

For people suffering from kidney or liver disease:
- There is insufficient data for specific dosage recommendations in the case of impaired kidney function/liver function.

- Please talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you have the impression that the effect of this medicine is too strong or too weak.

- Due to the gradual onset of the effect, the drug is not suitable for the acute treatment of mild nervous tension and sleep disorders. In order to achieve optimal treatment success, it is recommended to adhere to continuous use for 2-4 weeks.
- If symptoms do not improve or worsen after two weeks of continuous use of the drug, a doctor should be consulted.

If you take more of the medicine than you should:
- If you accidentally take twice or three times the intended dose (equivalent to 2-3 film-coated tablets of this medicine), this usually has no adverse consequences. In this case, continue taking it as described in the dosing instructions or as directed by your doctor.
- If you have significantly overdosed this medicine, you should consult a doctor.

If you forget to take the medicine:
- Do not take a double dose, but continue to take it as directed or as directed by your doctor.

- Discontinuing the drug is usually enough to make the side effects go away. At the first sign of a hypersensitivity reaction, this medicine should not be taken again. If you notice any of the side effects mentioned above, inform your doctor so that he can decide on the degree of severity and any necessary measures.
- If you get any side effects, talk to your doctor or pharmacist. This also applies to side effects that are not specified.

Interactions with other medicines
- Interactions with other drugs have not been investigated and are not known to date. Concomitant use with synthetic tranquilizers is not recommended.

- Avoid drinking alcohol while using this medicine.

Pregnancy and lactation :
- Safety during pregnancy and lactation has not been adequately studied. The drug is not recommended for pregnant and breastfeeding women.

- There are no adequate studies on the use of the preparation in small children. It should therefore not be used in children under 6 years of age.
- Only rarely do sleep disorders in children require treatment with drugs. If non-drug measures such as regular daily routines, especially going to bed, relaxing at the end of the day, etc. do not show sufficient success, the drug can in principle be used in children from the age of 6 years. However, sleep disorders can be the result of physical or mental illnesses and should be remedied in such cases through targeted treatment of the underlying disease.

Driving and using machines.
- Even when used as directed, the drug can impair the ability to drive and operate machines. In this case, you are not allowed to drive motor vehicles, operate machines or carry out other dangerous activities. This applies even more in combination with alcohol.
