  • Eloprine. The active substance of the medicinal product is 0.5g Eloprine inosine pranobex, which acts antiviral and stimulates the immune system. Drug Eloprine is indicated by recurrent infections of the upper respiratory tract.

 

Eloprine 0.5g × 50 tablets, inosine pranobex Composition:


Active ingredient: inosine pranobex (complex comprises a salt of inosine acetomidobenzoesowego of 4-N, N-2-dimethylamino-2-propanol in a molar ratio of 1: 3). Each tablet contains 500 mg Inosine Pranobex and other ingredients: mannitol, potato starch, povidone K-25, and magnesium stearate.

Action Eloprine:
The drug Eloprine 0.5 g of active substance, that is, inosine pranobex is a synthetic purine derivative. It works primarily by stimulating the immune system. Inosine Pranobex also shows antiviral activity.

Eloprine Application:
The medicinal product Eloprine 0.5g indicated for immunocompromised by recurrent infections of the upper respiratory tract.

Keep out of reach of children, at room temperature. The medicament comprises mannitol (80mg in one tablet), which means that it can cause a mild laxative effect.

Eloprine Contraindications:
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to any component of the drug (symptoms of an allergic reaction is m.in .: rash, itching, swelling of the face, lips, throat, tongue, difficulty in breathing). Do not apply in the case of an ongoing attack of gout, or in the case of increased concentration of uric acid in the blood, which has been found in the studies. Do not use in children in the first year of life. Not recommended for use in women during pregnancy and breast-feeding women.

Adverse reactions Eloprine:
While taking side effects may occur. Common: increased levels of uric acid in the blood (temporary); elevated liver enzymes or concentrations of blood urea nitrogen; nausea (vomiting or not); abdominal pain; itching; skin rashes; headaches and dizziness; fatigue; bad mood; arthralgia. Uncommon: constipation; diarrhea; nervousness; trouble sleeping or drowsiness; increased urine volume.

 

Eloprine 0.5g × 50 tablets, inosine pranobex Dosage:


Use as directed by your doctor or as described in the leaflet. The tablets should drink abundant liquid. In children and the problems with swallowing, the tablet can be crushed and dissolved in a small amount of fluid. The daily dose is determined depending on the weight of the body, as well as the severity of symptoms. The daily dose should be taken at a single equal doses several times a day. Adults, elderly: 50 mg per kg of body weight per day. In general, daily dose is 3 g, or 6 tablets taken two tablets three times a day. The maximum daily dose is 4g (8 tablets). Children over 1 year of age: 50 mg per kg of body weight. Treatment usually lasts for 5-14 days. Treatment should be continued for 1-2 days after symptoms disappear. If there is no improvement or the severity of symptoms after 5-14 days of medication, you should contact your doctor.
