Selukos is a medical shampoo.
It is used to treat scalp diseases (dandruff).

25.80 mg selenium disulfide
Auxiliary materials
Phenonip
(Dodecyl, tetradecyl) poly (oxyethylene) -x-hydrogen sulfate, sodium salt
Alkyl (C12-C14) hydrogen sulfate, 2-aminoethanol salt
Cocamidopropyl betaine
Ethanol
Xanthan gum
Citric acid
Essence HB 302 (Givaudan)
Purified water
Sodium benzoate

Areas of application
For the treatment of flaking of the scalp and seborrhea.

Method and duration of application
For use on the scalp. Shake bottle well before use.

1) Rinse hair well with warm water.
2) Rub in enough Selukos shampoo to create a rich foam.
3) Massage the scalp thoroughly for 5 minutes.
4) Then rinse your hair and scalp carefully.
5) Then wash your hands.



Anti dandruff shampoo, scalp diseases and disorders Frequency and duration of application:


2 applications during the first week. Use once in the 2nd and 3rd week. Shampoo every 2 to 3 weeks later.

Contraindications:
• Hypersensitivity to any component of the shampoo
• Open injuries to the scalp
• Inflamed and
oozing scalp • Head psoriasis, atopic dermatitis of the scalp, tinea capitis
• Parkinson's disease.

Special warnings and precautions for use:
• Wash hands thoroughly after each use.
• Do not get on the mucous membranes of the mouth or in the eyes, as this may cause severe irritation. In the event of accidental contact, rinse thoroughly with water.
• Selukos should not be used immediately before up to 4 days after hair tinting, dyeing or perming.
• Rings or jewelry should be removed before use (on the head and on the hands).
• Selukos can also be used on colored or tinted hair.



Anti dandruff shampoo, scalp diseases and disorders Cold wave fluids (alkaline permanent wave fluids) can impair the effectiveness of selenium disulfide (neutralization).



Side effects
Eye disorders: Wetting the eyes when washing the head can lead to severe irritation and even conjunctivitis.

Skin and subcutaneous tissue disorders: With frequent use, temporary hair loss that stops after treatment is discontinued. In individual cases, the hair and scalp can become overly greasy. Discoloration of gray and white hair can be prevented by thorough rinsing with water. Medicines containing selenium disulfide cause irritation on the inflamed scalp.

Immune system disorders: local hypersensitivity reactions.

In the event of accidental ingestion of Selukos, systemic intoxication is only possible after the use of large amounts (in adults over ¼ of a bottle of Selukos shampoo). Loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting and diarrhea can result.
