Eucabal ® -Balsam S is used to improve the symptoms of colds in the respiratory tract with viscous mucus. The Eucabal ®Cold balm is intended for external use for colds of the respiratory tract.

The Eucabal ® brand from Aristo Pharma stands for herbal cold medicine for the whole family. With Eucabal ® the typical complaints of an explanation can be treated naturally and efficiently. The special feature: the products are suitable for young and old - for babies, children and adults. The herbal brand includes a mild cold balm, cough syrup, a cold bath with eucalyptus for adults and children over 7 years of age and a children's bath with thyme from infancy.
Effective and tolerable - herbal balm for tough mucus
The Eucabal® cold balm with eucalyptus and pine needle oil liquefies and loosens tough mucus and thus frees the airways. The balm does not contain camphor and menthol. This makes it particularly mild and approved for infants from 6 months (up to 23 months only for back rubbing). The balm is still suitable for inhalation (from 6 years under supervision). To inhale, simply place a small amount in an inhaler and fill with hot water.

How does the herbal cold balm with essential oils work?
The cold balm Eucabal ® -Balsam S from the pharmacy for rubbing in is a mild but effective help for the whole family. The essential oils of eucalyptus and pine needles reach the bronchi via the skin and inhalation, where they help loosen thick mucus and calm the airways.
In the fight against colds, essential oils have particularly good properties and help effectively with respiratory problems. But be careful: some essential oils that are often recommended for colds, such as camphor and menthol, are not suitable for children because they can irritate the mucous membranes too much. Eucabal® _- Balsam S is therefore free of camphor and menthol. Instead, the essential oils of pine needle and eucalyptus, which are equally suitable for adults and children, are used. They gently help to clear blocked noses and cough up annoying phlegm. The cold products from Eucabal ® do without superfluous substances that stress or irritate the children's organism.

Eucalyptus: Eucalyptus leaves contain valuable essential oils that are used to fight colds. If you inhale the volatile substances in eucalyptus oil, they can loosen mucus that is stuck in the bronchi. They also have anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties.
Pine Needle: An oil is extracted from the pine needles and the tips of the branches of the pine tree that can help with cough and cold symptoms. The valuable ingredients "carene" and "pinene" are responsible for this by stimulating the production of thin mucus.
How is eucalyptus oil, pine needle oil Eucabal ® -Balsam S applied?
The cold balm is used for rubbing on the chest and back as well as for inhalation. Please note the dosage according to age group:
For rubbing in:
• Adults and children from 12 years: 2-3 times a day. Spread about 3-5 cm of cream on the chest and back (0.7-1.2 g of cream)
• Children from 2 to 11 years: apply approx. 3-4 cm strands of cream to the chest and back 2-3 times a day (0.7-.9 g of cream)
• Babies from 6 months and small children up to 2 years: only apply to the back, 2-3 Distribute approx. 2-3 cm strands of cream on the back once a day (0.5-0.7 g cream)
For steam inhalation:
• Adults and children from 12 years: approx. 4-6 cm strands of cream in 1-2 L water 2- 3 x daily
• Children aged 6-11 years: approx. 4 cm strand of cream in 1-2 L water 2-3 times a day.
