• For wound irrigation in the case of external trauma and burns
Ringer Fresenius is an isotonic solution and has an ionic composition close to that of plasma. Due to these properties, it is widely used in operations, wound care and diagnostic procedures that require the area to be examined to be dilated.
The Careflex Duo bags or the Kabi container are particularly suitable for use in bipolar transurethral resections, transurethral laser surgery, or bipolar transcervical procedures in gynecology. The Careflex Duo bag is also well-suited for arthroscopy (provided monopolar current is not used) and diagnostic procedures such as cystoscopy and diagnostic hysteroscopy.
