How should SanFerin® tablets be taken?
Adults and children from the age of 10:
The first two days: 2 x 3 tablets (6 tablets) per day,
subsequently: 2 x 2 tablets (4 tablets) per day. Children between the ages of 6 and 10:
The first two days: 2 x 2 tablets (4 tablets) per day,
subsequently: 2 x 1 tablet (2 tablets) per day
Take the tablets with plenty of liquid before or with a meal.
When should SanFerin® tablets not be taken?
SanFerin® tablets are generally well tolerated, only people with chicken egg allergy are not advised to take them, as lysozyme is obtained from chicken eggs. Therefore, children between the ages of 6 and 10 should not take Sanferin® tablets if a chicken egg allergy cannot be ruled out with certainty.
If SanFerin® tablets are also taken with antibiotics, the intake should be discussed with the attending physician.
