OLINT 0.05% nasal spray Application:

Olint nasal spray belongs to a group of medicines called sympathomimetics. It has a vasoconstrictive effect and thus reduces the swelling of the mucous membrane and leads to improved drainage of secretions.

OLINT nasal spray Composition:

The active substance is xylometazoline

The other ingredients are: benzalkonium chloride (preservative), sorbitol, sodium chloride, sodium dihydrogen phosphate dihydrate, disodium phosphate dihydrate, edetate disodium, purified water.

OLINT nasal spray Dosage:

Unless otherwise prescribed for children from 2 to 6 years of age, 1 injection of 0.05% Olint in each nostril is administered if necessary. The dosage depends on the individual sensitivity of the patient and the clinical effect.

Olint 0.05% nasal spray should not be applied for more than 5 to 7 days, unless otherwise prescribed by a doctor.

Use in chronic rhinitis should be performed only under medical supervision due to the risk of atrophy (damage) of the nasal mucosa.

Contraindications:

This medicine should not be used in the following cases:

- Hypersensitivity to one of the ingredients of Olint

Due to the use of non-alconium chloride as a preservative, Olint should not be used in case of known hypersensitivity to this substance.
