Wepa Inhalation Solution 0.9% at a glance:

• The Wepa NaCl inhalation solution is used to humidify the upper and lower respiratory tract by nebulization with an electrically operated compressor or ultrasonic nebulizer.
• For example, as an accompanying measure for the treatment of colds (e.g. runny nose, cough, etc.), inflammations or chronic diseases (e.g. hay fever, asthma, COPD, etc.).
• The Wepa NaCl inhalation solution ensures sufficient moisturization of the mucous membranes of your respiratory tract, preventing unpleasant drying out. This supports the natural cleansing of your respiratory tract.
• A positive effect is also noticeable during long stays in air-conditioned or heated rooms with low humidity or in cases of increased dust and pollutant exposure (e.g. from dust or tobacco smoke).
• There is no age restriction for the Wepa NaCl inhalation solution and it can therefore also be used on small children.

WEPA inhalation solution NaCl 0.9%

Instructions for use:

• As needed, up to a maximum of 4 times a day, fill the contents of one ampoule into the nebulizer according to the manufacturer's instructions for your electrically operated compressor nebulizer or ultrasonic nebulizer.
• The duration of inhalation depends on the type and features of your inhalation device and can therefore vary slightly.
• However, it should not exceed 20 minutes for the 5 ml ampoule of Wepa NaCl inhalation solution.
• Otherwise, please contact the manufacturer of your inhaler.

Preparing for inhalation:
Open the nebulizer by gently turning the top of the nebulizer counterclockwise and removing it from the medication cup. Open the ampoule and pour the Wepa NaCl inhalation solution into the nebulizer's medication cup. When using Wepa NaCl inhalation solution in conjunction with a medication, please follow the dilution instructions in the medication's leaflet. Hold the nebulizer upright and screw the parts together.

Inhalation with the mouthpiece:
Hold the mouthpiece between your teeth and close your lips around it. Sit upright and relaxed. Breathe in calmly and evenly through the mouthpiece and exhale through your nose after a few seconds.

Inhalation with the mask:
Hold the mask on your face so that your mouth and nose are tightly closed. Breathe as described above.

Package size:
20 ampoules containing 5 ml of isotonic saline solution (NaCl 0.9%).

Precautions and warnings:

• Do not use for injection.
• Do not use if the ampoule is damaged.
• Do not use if you are hypersensitive to any of the ingredients.

• Do not use the solution after the expiration date, which is printed on each ampoule and on the carton.
• The Wepa NaCl inhalation solution comes in small plastic containers that could be swallowed by small children. Therefore, please keep the Wepa NaCl inhalation solution out of the reach of children.
• Wepa NaCl Inhalation Solution can also be used to dilute medications for inhalation. Before using this medicine, the package leaflet must be read carefully and followed. The medicine must be intended for this dosage form. Please follow the instructions of your doctor or pharmacist.
