Xylodex 0.1% regeneration nasal spray 10ml
- Xylodex nasic spray 0.1% regeneration in the form of a nasal spray is used to treat the symptoms of nasal obstruction. The drug is responsible for two active substances: xylometazoline hydrochloride and dexopanthenol.
Composition:
The active substances of the drug: xylometazoline hydrochloride, dexopanthenol. In one dose, the drug contains: xylometazoline hydrochloride - 0.1 mg, dexopanthenol - 5 mg and auxiliary substances: disodium phosphate dodecahydrate, potassium dihydrogen phosphate, benzalkonium chloride, solution: purified water.
Action:
Recommended for clearing the nose and accelerating the regeneration of irritated nasal mucous membrane Xylodex aerosol 0.1% regeneration is a medicinal product containing dexopanthenol (a substance from the group of B vitamins) and xylometazoline hydrochloride (a sympathomimetic substance). They help to accelerate wound healing, regeneration of the mucous membrane and, above all, reduce swelling and congestion of the mucous membrane, reduce the amount of secretion and cause its faster outflow from the sinuses.
Application:
Xylodex 0.1% regeneration nasal spray recommended for use in the symptomatic treatment of cold (occlusion of the nose in the course of a cold) or after a nasal surgery as a means of stimulating the process of healing the nasal mucosa and improving the patency of the nose. For adults and children over 6 years old.
Additional information:
Contains benzalkonium chloride (preservative), which may cause irritation of the nasal mucosa. Keep the product out of reach of children at room temperature. Pregnant women and breastfeeding women should consult a physician before using the medicine. It is recommended for hygienic reasons to use one package for one person. Use within 12 weeks of opening.
Contraindications:
Do not use in the case of hypersensitivity to any component of the drug. Do not use in children under 6 years of age. Do not use in people who have recently had a neurosurgical operation (brain) or surgery performed by the nose. Do not use if you find defects or changes in the nasal mucosa.
Side effects: Adverse reactions
may occur during treatment - rarely: palpitations, increased heart rate, high blood pressure, headache, insomnia; very rare: irritation and dry nose, burning sensation in the nose, reactions of intolerance. The use of doses greater than the recommended or use for more than 7 days may lead to difficult to heal, irreversible changes in the nasal mucosa.
Dosage:
Use as directed by your doctor or the guidelines on the leaflet. Only for nasal use. Adults, children over 6 years old: apply one spray dose to each nostril 1-2 times a day, keeping an interval of 8-10 hours. The maximum daily dose is 3 doses into each nostril, a total of 6 doses. Do not use for more than 7 days, after this time, if no improvement has occurred, please contact your doctor. Do not exceed the given doses.
