With Contramutan® drops, the areas of application are derived from the homeopathic drug pictures. These include: feverish flu infections with inflammatory diseases of the upper respiratory tract.

Aconitum napellus Indication / application

  • The preparation is a homeopathic medicine for inflammatory diseases of the upper respiratory tract.
  • The areas of application are derived from the homeopathic drug pictures.
  • This includes:
    • Febrile, flu-like infections with inflammation of the upper airways.

Aconitum napellus dosage

  • Always take the preparation exactly as directed. Please ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
  • Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, the usual dose in acute conditions is:
    • Infants 1 - 6 years (approx. 8 - 20 kg)
      • Single dose: 3 - 5 drops every half to full hour, no more than 12 times a day
      • Total daily dose: 36 - 60 drops
    • Children 6 - 12 years (approx. 20 - 43 kg)
      • Single dose: 4 - 7 drops every half to full hour, no more than 12 times a day
      • Total daily dose: 48 - 84 drops
    • Adolescents from 13 years and adults
      • Single dose: every half hour to a full hour, no more than 12 times a day 5 - 10 drops
      • Total daily dose: 60 - 120 drops
  • When the symptoms subside (subacute stage), the individual groups of people take the aforementioned individual amounts 1 to 3 times a day.

 

  • Duration of application
    • The duration of the application depends on the therapeutic necessity or the duration of the illness. Because of the component Echinacea the preparation can not be used for longer than 2 weeks without medical advice.

  • If you take more than you should
