The Aspirin ® Complex granulate sticks provide thanks to the two active ingredients
• Acetylsalicylic acid (500 mg) and
• Pseudoephedrine hydrochloride (30 mg)
for direct improvement of cold-related symptoms. The acetylsalicylic acid inhibits the formation of fever, pain and anti-inflammatory substances: This fights cold pain (including headache, sore throat and body aches) and fever. Thanks to the tried-and-tested combination with pseudoephedrine hydrochloride, the sticks also work reliably against colds. The active ingredient has a vasoconstrictive effect and thus causes the nasal mucous membranes, including the paranasal sinuses, to decongest.
Other ingredients of the direct granules are:

Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, the recommended single dose for adults and adolescents aged 16 and over is one to two sachets. Two sticks at once make sense, especially if you have severe symptoms at the beginning of a cold. When the symptoms subside, you should reduce the dose again. Depending on your needs, you can repeat the intake after four to eight hours. Please note, however, that you take a maximum of six granule sticks per day.
Put the white-yellowish granules directly in the mouth and swallow as soon as they have dissolved in the saliva. Then drink some water if possible. Seek medical advice if symptoms do not improve after three days.
Important instructions
Do not take the medicine if you suffer from the pre-existing conditions described in the package leaflet, have intolerance to an ingredient or are receiving the medication listed in the package leaflet. In addition, the cold product must not be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
The Direct Granules may reduce your ability to react. Do not drink alcohol in combination with the medicine as this may increase the negative effect. Store the sticks below 25 degrees Celsius and out of the reach of children. After the expiry date has passed, you may no longer use the direct granules.
