Acimol ® is suitable for use in adults and adolescents from 12 years of age. The film-coated tablets should be swallowed whole with a large glass of water before meals. In this way, urinary acidification is achieved more quickly. Higher doses should only be taken in special cases and after medical advice. Until an effect of Acimol ®occurs, up to 6 days can pass.
