The active ingredient ibuprofen is proven and well-known in the treatment of pain, which is particularly due to its pain-relieving but also anti-inflammatory properties. The pain is mainly caused by the release of prostaglandins. These are local hormones that are released in the area of the injury or disease. This is where ibuprofen comes into play, as it inhibits the production of these hormones, slowing down the onset of pain. This mechanism of action also inhibits inflammation, which is also advantageous in the treatment of rheumatic joint diseases. ibutop ® pain cream is used 3 to 4 times a day.
The maximum total daily dose is 20 g cream equivalent to 1000 mg ibuprofen.
Only for external use. Don't ingest.
ibutop ® pain cream is applied to the skin and gently rubbed into the skin.
The practicing doctor will decide about the length of the treatments.
As a rule, an application over 2 - 3 weeks is sufficient. The therapeutic benefit of application beyond this period has not been proven.

What should be taken into account when using it for severe bruising?
