1. What is Nux vomica comp. and what is it used for?
Nux vomica comp. is an anthroposophical medicine.
Areas of application
According to anthroposophical knowledge of man and nature, the areas of application include: acute gastroenteritis, irritable stomach, nausea and vomiting.

2. What should you be aware of before taking Nux vomica comp.?
Contraindications
The medicine should not be used during pregnancy.
Precautions for use
If the stool is black or if symptoms persist or arise for the first time, a doctor should be consulted as these may be illnesses that require medical evaluation.
Children
There is insufficient documented
experience with the use of Nux vomica comp. in children. It should therefore not be used in children under 12 years of age.
Breastfeeding
Like all medicines, Nux vomica comp. should only be used during breastfeeding after consulting a doctor.
Interactions with other medicines
None known
Please inform your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking or have recently taken any other medicines, including medicines obtained without a prescription.
Driving and operating machines
No special precautions are necessary.
Important information about certain ingredients of Nux vomica comp.
This medicine contains 50% alcohol by volume.

3. How should Nux vomica comp. be taken?
Always take Nux vomica comp. exactly as directed in this leaflet.
Unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor, the usual dose is:
10-15 drops diluted with water 3-5 times a day.
Duration of use
Treatment of an acute illness should be completed after 1 week. If there is no improvement within 2 days, consult a doctor.
If you forget to take Nux vomica comp.:
Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose.

4. What side effects are possible?
No side effects are known.

5. What else is important?
Do not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the label and carton.
