HAY FEVER: Seasonal allergic rhinitis (commonly known as hay fever) is usually accompanied by symptoms such as sudden sneezing fits and/or a runny or blocked nose. These are triggered by an allergic reaction to pollen from grasses, flowers, or trees. At the same time, stinging, watery, or itchy eyes may occur – possible signs of allergic conjunctivitis.
2.) Year-round triggers of allergic rhinitis, such as house dust mites, pet dander, and mold, can cause the same symptoms.
3.) Itching from nettle rash: Hives (urticaria) manifest as red, circular, raised, and itchy welts on the skin's surface, similar to those caused by contact with stinging nettles. The rash usually appears on the upper body, neck, arms, or legs. The size of the welts can vary – from very small to the size of a dinner plate.
*Non-sedating [Leceta A, et al. Drugs Context. 2021;10:2021-5-1]. Fatigue and drowsiness occurred with a similar frequency to placebo. Study conducted with an equivalent drug [Kuna P, et al. Clin Exp Allergy. 2009; 39(9):1338-47].
** Among oral antihistamines. When used as directed, it usually takes effect after 30-60 minutes, like most oral antihistamines [Church MK, et al. Curr Med Res Opin. 2020;36(3):445ff]
