In people with a disturbed sugar metabolism, the ability to absorb sugar from the blood into the cells is usually limited. The cells are less "sensitive" to the body's own insulin. This means that more sugar from the daily diet remains in the blood and thus increases the sugar level. It is therefore particularly important for type II diabetics to pay attention to the sugar level in their diet. A clinical study with ALSIDIABET® cinnamon catechins was able to show that a diet with special plant substances from the bark of the cinnamon tree (catechins) in combination with the micronutrients niacin (vitamin B3) and chromium supports the insulin sensitivity of the cells. Such a nutritional intervention lowers the body's need for insulin and improves long-term glucose levels.

People with an elevated sugar level have a medically-related nutrient requirement that cannot be covered over the long term through normal nutrition. ALSIDIABET® cinnamon catechins contains catechins in a standardized form, niacin and chromium and is suitable for the dietary treatment of an elevated sugar level in type II diabetes.

dosage:

1 capsule daily during breakfast with plenty of liquid. The recommended daily dose should not be exceeded.
