APTEO Ambroxol Syrup 30 mg/5 ml 120 ml
Ambroxol hydrochloride, the active substance in Ambroxol APTEO MED, increases mucus secretion in the respiratory tract, facilitating expectoration and relieving cough.
Indications:
Ambroxol APTEO MED syrup is indicated for use in acute and chronic respiratory diseases associated with sticky, mucous secretions and difficulty in expectoration.
The
active substance is ambroxol hydrochloride. 1 mL contains 6 mg of ambroxol hydrochloride. 5 mL of syrup contains 30 mg of ambroxol hydrochloride. The other ingredients are: sorbitol (E420), methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E218), propyl parahydroxybenzoate (E216), glycerol, propylene glycol, sodium saccharin, citric acid monohydrate, Tutti Frutti flavor (flavoring part: orange oil, ethyl butanoate, isoamyl acetate, isoamyl butyrate, vanillin; all-rac-α-tocopherol), purified water.
Dosage
Always use this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. If you are not sure, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
The recommended dose is: Adults and adolescents over 12 years of age: 5 ml of syrup three times daily (equivalent to 90 mg of ambroxol hydrochloride per day) for the first 2 to 3 days, then 5 ml of syrup twice daily (equivalent to 60 mg of ambroxol hydrochloride per day). If necessary, the dose of ambroxol hydrochloride in adults can be increased to 60 mg twice daily (equivalent to 120 mg of ambroxol hydrochloride per day). This regimen is suitable for the treatment of acute respiratory disorders and for the initial treatment of chronic diseases. If symptoms do not improve within 4-5 days during treatment of acute respiratory diseases, a doctor should be consulted. Dosage in elderly patients is not different from that in adults.Patients with impaired liver or kidney function. Before using this medicine in patients with impaired liver or kidney function, consult a doctor. Ambroxol APTEO MED can be taken with or without meals.
