Preparation of Sanicle Elixir
- 30g dried sanicle herb
- 2L water
- 300g honey
- 60ml licorice juice (equivalent to 2 x 30ml bottles)
Sanicle herb is boiled vigorously for 5 minutes to make sanicle tea. Honey and licorice are added to this tea, it is boiled again for 2 minutes, filtered, and poured into sterile bottles.
Recommended consumption:
1 liqueur glass 3 times daily after meals.
