Vitamin B Complex Capsules

B complex contains a range of B vitamins, which are also known as “anti-stress vitamins”.
B vitamins perform a variety of tasks in the nervous system, energy metabolism and immune system of the human body. B complex contains a mixture of all eight vitamins.

B complex contains the following vitamins:

Vitamin B1 (thiamine)  contributes to normal energy metabolism and normal functioning of the nervous system. Mental function and heart function are also positively influenced by vitamin B1.

Vitamin B2 (riboflavin)  is important in energy metabolism. It is needed for a normally functioning nervous system and protects cells from oxidative stress. Skin, mucous membranes and red blood cells need vitamin B2 for their normal function. It contributes to normal iron metabolism, normal vision and to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.

Niacin (vitamin B3)  can be synthesized by humans from the essential amino acid tryptophan. It is present in various forms in practically all tissues of the body and its functions influence almost the entire metabolism. Niacin is involved in energy metabolism as well as in the normal functioning of the nervous system. The skin and mucous membranes in particular need niacin for their structure. It helps to reduce tiredness and fatigue and contributes to normal mental function.

Vitamin B6  is a collective name for pyridoxine, pyridoxamine and pyridoxal. The active form of these compounds is pyridoxal phosphate, the most important coenzyme of amino acid metabolism. Vitamin B6 plays an important role in maintaining mental functions, supports normal homocysteine and energy metabolism and is important for the formation of red blood cells. The immune and nervous systems need vitamin B6 to function normally. Vitamin B6 also helps reduce tiredness and fatigue and regulates hormone activity.

Folic acid  is important for normal homocysteine metabolism, a functioning immune system and helps reduce tiredness and fatigue. It plays an important role in amino acid synthesis, normal blood formation and cell division. Folic acid is particularly important during pregnancy as it contributes to the growth of maternal tissue. Since the water-soluble vitamin is very sensitive to heat and can easily be destroyed during cooking, the intake of folic acid is so valuable.

Biotin  contributes to the normal metabolism of macronutrients (fats, proteins, carbohydrates) and is important for the nervous system and normal psychological function. Hair, skin and mucous membranes need biotin for their maintenance.

B5 (pantothenic acid) contributes to normal synthesis and a well-functioning metabolism of steroid hormones (e.g. the male sex hormone testosterone), vitamin D and some neurotransmitters. It is important for reducing tiredness and fatigue and supports normal mental performance.

Vitamin B12 (cobalamin)  is important for normal homocysteine and energy metabolism and the normal formation of red blood cells. It counteracts tiredness and fatigue and contributes to the normal functioning of the immune and nervous systems. The body also needs vitamin B12 for cell division. The vitamin is synthesized exclusively by microorganisms and is mainly found in foods of animal origin. Therefore, ensuring an adequate supply is particularly important for people who eat little or no meat.
