beecraft throat lozenges propolis is a medical product with a moisturizing hydrogel active ingredient complex with hyaluronic acid, which lays soothingly over the irritated mucous membranes of the mouth, throat and throat like a protective film. The mucous membranes are intensively moistened and soothed and shielded from further external stimuli.

Constant urge to cough, scratchy throat, hoarseness, dry mucous membrane and the resulting sore throat are noticeably relieved.

The natural defense function of the mucous membrane is strengthened by the resulting physical barrier, which makes it more difficult for other bacteria and viruses to penetrate. The soothing pastilles contain propolis, the valuable protective resin of honey bees, and have a slight lemon taste.


Dosing instructions, type and duration of use: Adults and adolescents from the age of 12 let 1 lozenge slowly melt in the mouth every 2-3 hours as required. The daily dose should not exceed 4 lozenges.
Do not swallow or chew the lozenge. It is recommended to take it after a meal. If there is no improvement 2-3 days after the start of the treatment or if the symptoms have worsened considerably (such as the occurrence of a fever above 38°C), please see a doctor.

What actually is propolis? Propolis is the protective or putty resin of the honey bee. It consists of over 300 natural ingredients. The bees use the antibacterial protective complex propolis as a building material to seal the beehive and to prevent the ingress of harmful germs. In a beehive, more than 60,000 bees live together in a very small space at around 35°C. As a result, there are ideal conditions for the colonization of bacteria, viruses or fungal spores. The bees therefore cover the inside of the hive and especially the entrance hole with a fine layer of propolis, which inhibits the penetration and spread of germs. This ensures the health and survival of the beehive and has been for several thousand years.

How is propolis formed? A resinous material made from the buds and bark of various trees forms the basis of propolis. Only special propolis bees specifically collect suitable plant parts and then mix them with pollen, wax and their own enzymes to produce the finished propolis. With a lot of experience and a gentle harvesting technique, the beekeeper is able to obtain up to 100 g of propolis per hive without affecting the life of the bees in the hive.
