Benzacne gel 100 mg/g 20 g
enzacne is a gel-based anti-acne medication intended for topical application to the skin. The medication contains the active ingredient benzoyl peroxide. When applied to the skin, benzoyl peroxide readily penetrates the stratum corneum and inhibits the growth of the anaerobic bacteria Propionibacterium acnes, one of the causes of acne vulgaris. It also exfoliates the epidermis and reduces the number of comedones.
Composition
:
The active ingredient is benzoyl peroxide. 1 g of gel contains 50 mg or 100 mg of benzoyl peroxide. Other ingredients are: carbomer, sodium hydroxide, and purified water.
Recommended dose
: Adults and children over 12 years of age.
Apply once or twice daily. Typically, during the first 2 to 3 weeks of treatment, a medication containing 50 mg/g of benzoyl peroxide is used, and if necessary, treatment is continued with a medication containing 100 mg/g of benzoyl peroxide.
Method of administration
: This medicine is intended for topical use on the skin. After washing and drying the skin, apply a small amount of the medicine to the affected areas, sufficient to cover them, and rub in gently. Wash your hands after use.
Warnings:
If you feel that the effect of the medicine is too strong or too weak, consult a doctor.
Using more Benzacne than recommended: Symptoms of excessive use of Benzacne include redness or swelling of the skin. If these occur, stop using the medicine immediately and contact a doctor. Cold compresses can be applied to the irritated areas.
Do not use a double dose to make up for a missed dose.
