1 As soon as the wound no longer oozes,

Bepanthen ® Antiseptic Wound Cream protects against infections

Whether it's a cut, abrasion or a tear - if the skin is injured on the surface, our most valuable protective shield against external influences is damaged. And that opens the door to pathogens, so to speak. In order to avoid infection, proper wound care is required. In addition to rinsing under running water, this also means that the wound should be disinfected as soon as it no longer oozes - with Bepanthen ® Antiseptic Wound Cream.

The wound cream contains the antiseptic chlorhexidine, which has an antibacterial and fungicidal (fungus-killing) effect, as well as the active ingredient dexpanthenol to support the healing process.

Bepanthen ® antiseptic wound cream enables

• protection against infections and
• is pleasantly cooling due to its cream formulation (oil-in-water).

The wound cream is also easy to use: apply a thin strand of ointment to the affected area twice a day and spread the cream around. The Bepanthen ® Antiseptic Wound Cream is quickly absorbed and is not greasy. The duration of application varies depending on the type and course of the injury; usually it is one to two weeks. If the wound does not improve or even worsens, please see a doctor.

Only use Bepanthen ® Antiseptic Wound Cream when the wound no longer oozes.

Note for pregnant and breastfeeding women: There are currently no clinical data available on the use of Bepanthen ® Antiseptic Wound Cream during pregnancy and breastfeeding. It is not advisable to use it over large areas; Breastfeeding women should not use the wound cream on the breast area. Keep Bepanthen ® Antiseptic Wound Cream out of the reach of children. Do not use the product after the expiry date. This can be found on the tube and the folding box and refers to the last day of the month.

The Bepanthen ® Antiseptic Wound Cream is available as a 20 gram tube.
