Beta-glucan is one of the essential multiple sugars, which are also called polysaccharides. It can be obtained from many types of grain, but differs in its composition.

The beta-glucan contained in our capsules is obtained from yeast and contains at least 80 percent 1,3-1,6-β-D-glucan. This specific form is insoluble and therefore not digestible. The yeast used in the production of our beta-glucan is obtained according to the German Purity Law. However, the end product no longer contains any yeast.
